Verdict Amount $7,092,837.92

This is the closing arguments in the Hunter vs. Ura, et.al., Davidson County, Tennessee case by Gary Smith. The case involved a 49-year old automobile company executive with a wife and two teenage boys who never awakened from what was supposed to be a routine shoulder surgery; he died a few days later. The case was tried in 2002 and resulted in a jury verdict in favor of our client, Mrs. Hunter in the amount of $5,855,310.64. After appeal and certain legal credits and reductions, and with interest running on the judgment on the jury's verdict, the amount received was $7,092,837.92.
